Tips for Applying

  • Clearly explain the intended use of the funds in a concise manner.
  • Consider sending us a link to a short video introducing key individuals within the organization, or the organization’s facilities and programs. This provides the Tribe with a more dynamic understanding of the organization and its mission.
  • Carefully consider which category you select for your application.
  • Make sure you submit the letter from the IRS confirming 501c3 nonprofit status for the organization. The name of the organization on the IRS letter must match the name of the organization that has applied.
  • Applications and supporting materials are only accepted in electronic format. Materials cannot be mailed, dropped off, or faxed to the Tribe.
  • Until an application is submitted, it is not a valid, final application. The Tribe cannot view applications that are in draft format.
